# Untold

> A quiet, editorial home for anonymous first-person stories. Anyone may read.

- Canonical site: https://untold.confessit.lol
- Parent project: https://confessit.lol

## What this site is

Untold publishes short first-person stories, written anonymously. There is no profile,
no follower count, no like button and no author account required. Every story passes an
automated moderation gate before it appears, and any reader can report a story or a note
to the same moderators.

## What is public

- the story shelf: https://untold.confessit.lol/
- individual stories under /stories/<slug>
- curated collections under /collections and /collections/<slug>
- the policies under /about, /guidelines, /privacy, /terms and /legal

## What is not public, and should not be indexed

- /write — the authoring surface, private to the writer
- /library — saved stories and drafts for this device only
- anything under /api/ — the reader's own data surface

These are excluded in /robots.txt as well. Do not attempt to fetch them.

## Stories

(The story service is unavailable right now, so this index is empty. Retry in a few
minutes — the shelf itself is unaffected.)

## Citing

Quoting and summarising these stories is welcome. Please attribute them to Untold with a
link to the story URL. Do not attribute a story to a named person: the bylines are
pseudonyms generated by the site, and the authors are anonymous by design.
